See the top 5 essential scents of the moment, according to our experts.
Basking in this spring weather means it’s time to refresh our fragrance routine (again). To aid in this perfume wardrobe overhaul, we’ve been speaking with our expert team in France. On the heels of our Spring Fling launch, we can confirm that florals are not groundbreaking but were rightfully predicted as one of the top 2025 fragrance trends for spring. You could say that our Creative Lab team is always on the nose. So, it’s no surprise that their trend forecasting skills are scent-sational.
See the top five spring 2025 trends they’ve confirmed. We’re sure you’ll smell (and spritz them) everywhere. (P.S. When you can pay 5x less, you can experiment with your scent without regrets!)

Florals In Full Bloom.
“Floral perfumes have experienced a remarkable resurgence this year and we see the trend continuing well into 2025. Once associated with ‘old lady’ fragrances reminiscent of our grandmothers or great-aunts, modern florals have evolved into sophisticated, fresh, and unexpected creations.”
Whether you’re a scent traditionalist or like to push boundaries with statement scents or unexpected blends, there’s something for everyone––and you’ll smell super on-trend.

Gourmands: A Feast For Your Senses.
Smelling good enough to eat is one of the major 2025 fragrance trends––and is just as sweet in the heat. As the temperatures rise, we’re continuing to see an upsurge in gourmand fragrances. In the same interview, Ines shared that she predicts warm and “roasted” notes will be a seasonless trend for the year: “I think we’ll also see rich, warm, roasted notes soar in popularity in 2025. These cozy notes are perfect for both warmer and cooler months. On warmed summer skin these notes create heat and intensity.”
At Dossier, we’ve curated a fragrance “dessert menu” of sorts––called our Edible scent family. Sort through. Pick and choose based on your preferences for warm vanilla, something boozy, fruity, or possibly a combination of all three. We’ve curated several of our favorites for you, too.
GOURMAND
VANILLA
Inspired by Tom Ford's Vanilla Sex
Seductive, playful, and universally appealing, it's crafted to satisfy any vanilla fragrance craving.
GOURMAND
PATCHOULI
Inspired by Mugler's Angel
Not for the faint of heart; the striking confidence and sensuality of femininity, bottled.
AMBERY

CHERRY
Inspired by Tom Ford's Lost Cherry
An explosive, decisive Shirley Temple with a burst of cherry, almond, and decadent ambery notes.
Venture Into The Milky (Fragrance) Way.
Creamy, milky, and lactonic scents are a standout 2025 fragrance trend due to its uniqueness and versatility. Milky fragrances have creamy, rich, sweet, and often powdery elements that give them a (non-dairy) milkish quality. They range from more velvety and musky skin scents to rich, decadent gourmands. See some recommendations from the Dossier scent families below.
Green With Envy.
Dossier has always been a proponent of going green––and now, we’re talking about being more than just sustainable or cruelty-free. Our experts in France are calling it: Matcha fragrances and ultra-green (think grassy, fresh, and lush herbs) scents are the next big thing. This 2025 fragrance trend is already on the rise. Try some of our Dossier favorites out for yourself.
CITRUS MATCHA
Inspired by Le Labo's
Thé Matcha 26
Match(a) any mood with matcha tea, brewed with bitter orange, fig, and musky woody notes.
GREEN LUSH
Dossier Originals:
The Color Factory Collection
Fresh-cut vegetal notes with bursts of matcha tea and gourmand pistachio.
Make ‘Em Musk Haves.
Skin scents are some of the most versatile fragrances in any perfume wardrobe. We can describe them as smelling like “your skin but better” scents. Musk is typically a key ingredient in these fragrances. Yet, it often doesn’t get the praise it deserves.
MUSKY MUSK
Inspired by Juliette Has A Gun's Not a Perfume
A clean second skin--daring as wearing nothing and layers of innovative musk in one.
MUSKY ROSE
Inspired by Narciso Rodriquez's For Her
Lush velvet as a fragrance with delicate rose and warm musky notes.
