Dossier Creative Lab Guide: Fragrance Concentration 101
OK, so you’ve heard about fragrance concentration, but what does it really mean when it comes to perfume? Simply put, fragrance concentration is the strength of any given fragrance. To get more into the nitty gritty, stronger or more highly concentrated fragrances contain a great proportion of perfume oils and fewer filler ingredients. This often translates to higher-priced fragrances that also happen to stick around longer on the skin.
Which fragrance concentration lasts the longest? When you’re shopping around, the amount of types of perfumes can be dizzying. There’s parfum, eau de parfum, eau de toilette… the list goes on. Here’s a little cheat sheet so you know exactly what to look for:
